Shapur-Hvarra (srednepers. Šāhpuhr-Xwarra, which means "the glory of Shapur ") - one of the four (later five) administrative units of the Sassanian province of Pars. The rest were Ardashir-Hvarra, Istahr and Darabgerd , while the fifth, under the name Arrajan , was created at the beginning of the VI century by Kavad I (498-531).
