Sanne Wevers ( Dutch: Sanne Wevers ; born September 17, 1991 , Leeuwarden , Friesland , Netherlands ) is a Dutch gymnast , the first Olympic champion from the Netherlands in beam exercises (2016), and also a prize-winner of the World and European Championships in women's gymnastics [ 1] .

Biography
Sanne Wevers was born on September 17, 1991 in the Dutch city of Leeuwarden in the province of Friesland. Her father Vincent and mother Gemma are also gymnasts. Sanna is the second child in the family, she has a younger sister who was born six minutes later - . The sisters are members of the Dutch national gymnastics team and train under the guidance of their father [2] .
