Actor's art (architect. Mummery) is a professional creative activity in the field of performing arts, consisting in creating stage images (roles), a kind of performing art [1] .
Performing a certain role in the theatrical performance, the actor seems to be likening himself to the person on whose behalf he acts in the play. By influencing the viewer during the performance, a special playing space and community of actors and spectators are created [1] .

The principle of acting art
The general principle of acting is reincarnation. Reincarnation is external and internal, the method of comprehending it varies depending on the technique used by the actor, the school (for example, Stanislavsky or Mikhail Chekhov ), the factors of external intervention in the construction of the role (work of partners, director, makeup artist, etc.).
Actor's work tools also differ in external and internal.
- External (technological) - make-up, costume, in some types of theater - a mask.
- Internal (psycho-physical) - physical: body, plastics and motility, voice (including diction), ear for music, sense of rhythm; psychic: emotionality, observation, memory, imagination, speed of reaction, ability to improvisation.
Actor's History
The origins of acting art go back to the mass actions of primitive society, although at that time acting art as such did not exist. The naive human worldview of that era attributed to such actions a magical value that could influence the forces of nature, bring good luck in hunting, or frighten the enemy.
The collapse of the mass action, performed by the whole tribe, to games and dances led to the emergence of performers and spectators.
