In 2009, together with prof. B.V. Dubovik restored the work of the Belarusian Scientific Society of Pharmacologists and Toxicologists, founded the tradition of the annual scientific conferences “Belarusian Medicines” and “Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology” with international participation. He founded the scientific journals “Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology” and “World of Drugs”.

In 2010, under the leadership of D. I. Romanovsky, for the first time at the Academy of Sciences “from scratch” the Akadempharm pharmaceutical plant was built and put into design capacity [10] - an innovative full-cycle pharmaceutical enterprise, the first high-tech production in the republic, affiliated with a research center. The plant was launched in September 2010 with the participation of senior government officials.

At the invitation of D. I. Romanovsky, in 2010 the head of Cipla, Dr. Yusuf Hamid, visited the Republic of Belarus, the Institute of Pharmacology and Biochemistry, the Akadempharm plant [11] [12] . Meetings were held at the state level with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus A. V. Kobyakov, Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus M. V. Myasnikovich, and the leadership of the Ministry of Health [13] . The first ever visit to the countries of the former USSR of the head of the largest pharmaceutical company with a global presence and the initiatives proposed by Yusuf Hamid and Dmitry Romanovsky became a trigger for the further development of the pharmaceutical industry and science in Belarus and the former Soviet Union. Dr. Yusuf Hamid was elected an honorary professor at the Institute of Pharmacology and Biochemistry of the NAS of Belarus, and in November 2017, a foreign member of the NAS of Belarus [14] .

On November 1, 2010, the European Commissioner for Health John Dalli visited the Institute of Pharmacology and Biochemistry and the Academpharm enterprise. [15] According to media reports, as a result of the first-ever interaction with the European regulator in the field of pharmaceuticals and healthcare at the Institute of Pharmacology and Biochemistry, the European Commissioner "praised the achievements of scientists in creating original medicines and certifying industries in accordance with GMP standards." The head, executive officer of a number of works on the instructions of the State Committee on Science and Technology, the Belarusian Innovation Fund, was a member of a specialized state expert council, scientific and technical councils. Together with prof. B.V. Dubovik and a team of employees conducted biomedical tests and developed dozens of pharmaceuticals: Ehingin, Trimumal, Fitonsol, Selenobel, Polymed, Bufatin, Groceprol, Valikar , "Neyramin", "Inocardine", "Tetracard", "Immugenin", "Aspargit", "Leyargunal", "Hydrogel matrices", "Hydroxyapatite", "Levothyroxine", "Imatinib" and others. Head of the development of domestic vitamins of the series "" Univ " [17] and metabotropic complexes for various purposes, some original and 100 of generic ekarstvennyh funds. Developed a complete line of probiotic agents.

For the metabolic protection of the myocardium based on L-arginine succinate, the drug “Cardinosine”, based on arginine, lysine, taurine, “Lizargin”, developed for long-term therapy of coronary heart disease and the prevention of repeated myocardial infarction and strokes, was developed and put into production. The result of joint work with IFCS was the creation of the composite drug “Leyargunal”, which has immunostimulating and adaptogenic properties (used for general variable immunodeficiency against the background of continuously recurring infectious and inflammatory diseases). Based on the original dipeptide, the immunomodulating drug Immugenin has been developed, which has high immunotropic activity (it has a stimulating effect on the processes of profiling, differentiation and migration of T and B lymphocytes, a positive effect on the indicators of cellular humoral immunity). [18]

He developed and introduced into production a medical autoinjector for use in military and emergency medicine. Domestic auto-injector is a pioneer development available to individual companies in the world.

He developed and introduced into production more than 10 test systems for immunochemical diagnosis of diseases and pathological conditions, including immunodiagnostics for the detection of HIV / AIDS, hepatitis B and C, non-invasive monitoring of tumor markers CA-125, CA-15-3, CA-19- 9 and others

Nearby domestic and foreign media, the creation of “Flustop” is called the event of 2010. The authoritative government publication “ Sovetskaya Belorussia ” wrote on this subject: “Scientists from the Institute of Pharmacology and Biochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences quickly, right in the midst of an epidemic and panic, developed, in collaboration with the largest Indian pharmaceutical company,“ our answer ”to the flu is the drug fluop. As a result, he became the winner of the NAS competition for the best innovative project of the year. “Belarusian Tamiflu”, both pharmacologists and doctors confirm, is not inferior in effectiveness to a foreign one: the infection slows down in a matter of hours, and in 5 days it completely expels the disease from the body. Moreover, there is a clear superiority in something behind our drug: flustop costs the patient three times cheaper! ” [24] “ Flustop ” [25] became the first domestic drug for targeted therapy of seasonal viral diseases. [26]
