Biography
Born 25.041884. in the city of Yuryevets of the Kostroma province in the family of a distillery worker. She graduated from the theater school.
Theatrical activity began in 1901 in the city of Sumy . She worked in theaters in Kiev, Baku, Omsk, Saratov, Samara, Orenburg, Chisinau, Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow, theaters of political departments of the 5th and 16th armies. Since 1931, with her husband, artist P.N. Chaplygin, she worked at the Russian Drama Theater in Petrozavodsk, becoming one of her leading actresses [2]
During the Great Patriotic War, as a member of theatrical groups, she spoke to the Red Army on the Karelian Front and the Far East. She was elected as a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Karelian-Finnish SSR of the III convocation (1951-1955). She left the stage in 1954. [3]
Died 06/26/1960. She was buried at Sulazhgorsky cemetery [4] .
