Shagara is a lake in the Klepikovsky district of the Ryazan region of Russia . Included in the system of Klepikovsky lakes . The area of the lake is 380 hectares.

Physico-geographical characteristics
Shagara is a flowing lake of the Pra river. Upstream of it lies Lake Dubovoe , and below Lake Ivankovskoye . The Shagara canal also connects to the Great Lake.
The lake is heavily overgrown with reeds. The shores of the lake are swampy.
On the northern shore of the lake is the village of Droshino , on the western village of Hanino , on the southern village of Türvishchi .
Attractions
The lake is located on the territory of the Meshchersky National Park .
On the southern shore of the lake, archaeological excavations of Neolithic sites are carried out [2] .
