The 11th Carpathian Infantry Division AK ( Polish 11 Karpacka Dywizja Piechoty AK ) is the Polish partisan rifle unit of the Home Army , which operated since September 1942 on the territory of the Stanislavovsky Voivodeship occupied by the Third Reich .

History
The division was formed in September 1942, in accordance with the battle order of the Polish Army of September 1, 1939, according to which there was a restoration of combat units.
As a result, the division was transformed. From the beginning of 1944, she began to participate in the Storm campaign . During the period, she participated in hostilities from July 14 (the beginning of the offensive of the 1st Ukrainian Front of the Red Army) and July 26 , when the territory of the pre-war Stanislavian Voivodeship was behind the front line.
The success of the division can be considered the liberation of the cities of Kalush and Sambir . In addition, they successfully defended technical equipment and oil wells near the cities of Drogobych and Borislav .
In many battlefields, division fighters interacted with the Red Army.
Division Structure
According to the battle order , the following units were part of the division:
- The 48th AK Infantry Regiment operated in the area of Stanislavov and Lukovets.
- The 49th AK Infantry Regiment operated in the area of Nadvirna and Bitkov.
- The 53rd Infantry Regiment of the AK operated in the areas of Dashava, Stry and Stebnik.
