Biography
Born on September 10, 1909 in a Tavrichanka farm in a peasant family. One of the first to join the collective labor collective farm in his native village in 1929.
In 1932 he was elected chairman of the same collective farm. Then he lived with his family on a New Israel farm, where he worked in a local collective farm.
After the enlargement of the surrounding collective farms into a single collective farm, Red October was elected its chairman in 1939. He participated in the Great Patriotic War. He fought as a medical instructor in the medical service of the 8th Guards Cavalry Regiment of the 2nd Guards Cavalry Division of the 1st Ukrainian Front. After demobilization, he returned to his native collective farm, where he continued to work as chairman. Restored the destroyed collective farm.
In 1947, 38 foals from 38 mares were raised on a collective farm horse farm. In 1948 he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor "for obtaining high livestock productivity in 1947 when the collective farm compulsory deliveries of agricultural products and the livestock development plan" [1] .
In 1950 he was awarded the Order of Lenin "for the development of virgin and fallow lands, in the harvesting and grain procurement" [2] .
He led the collective farm for 36 years.
In 1969 he retired.
He died in 1973.

He published several articles and wrote the book “Rice on the Don” (M., 1957).
