Tatyana Vasilievna Solomatina (born April 21, 1956 , p. Kuleevo, Kargasoksky district , Tomsk region ) is a Russian doctor, statesman and politician. Member of the State Duma of the VII convocation , member of the faction "United Russia" , member of the committee for the protection of health, candidate of medical sciences [1] .

Biography
In 1979 she graduated from Tomsk Medical Institute , majoring in medical business.
In 1979-1997 she was a doctor, the head of the department, and the chief physician of the clinic for preventive examinations. In 1997–2016, she worked as the director of the health association “Health” [2] .
She became a member of the Floating Clinic social project, whose goal was the creation of mobile teams of doctors from narrow specialists for those who live in remote settlements in the north of the Tomsk Region [3] .
In 2013, she was elected deputy of the Tomsk Regional Duma of the 5th convocation in the Beloozersky single-mandate constituency No. 7. She became the chairman of the Duma Health Committee [4] and a member of the Committee on Labor and Social Policy. Later she became a co-chair of the Tomsk regional branch of the All-Russian Popular Front [5] .
In 2016, according to the results of the preliminary vote of United Russia , 63.32% of the votes took 1st place in the Ob single-mandate constituency No. 182 [6] . September 18, 2016 elected a deputy of the State Duma of the 7th convocation, member of the Expert Council of the Department of Education of the city of Moscow . [7]
In 2017, according to Forbes Woman magazine, Solomatina topped the TOP 10 ranking of wealthy women politicians in Russia. The deputy’s income according to Forbes in 2016 amounted to about 56 million rubles. She stated that her only income was wages. [8]
April 13, 2018 became one of the initiators of bill No. 441399-7 “On measures to influence (counteract) on unfriendly actions of the United States of America and (or) other foreign states”, in paragraph 15 of the second article of which it is proposed to introduce a ban or restriction of import into the territory of the Russian Federation drugs produced in the United States or other foreign countries [9] [10] . The bill was criticized by a number of public organizations, the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy [12] and the State Duma Committee on International Affairs [13] .
Legislation
From 2016 to 2019, during the exercise of the powers of a deputy of the State Duma of the VII convocation, she co-authored 47 legislative initiatives and amendments to draft federal laws [14] .
