Ari Leyendyk ( born Arie Luyendyk , September 21, 1953, , Netherlands ) is a Dutch race car driver, two-time winner of the Indianapolis 500 Miles race (1990, 1997). He also won two races in the CART Championship (1991) and three in the IRL IndyCar (1996-1998).

Biography
Loyendake began his racing career in the early 1970s and won a number of national titles. In 1977, he won the European Championship and moved to Formula 3 .
