“ Feud ” ( born Feud ) is an American television anthology created by Ryan Murphy , Jaffe Cohen and Michael Zam. The premiere of the first season entitled "Bette and Joan" was held on March 5, 2017 [1] [2] .

Story
Bette and Joan
The first season of the television series focuses on backstage rivalry between Joan Crawford and Bette Davis , which began during the filming of their joint film “ What Happened to Baby Jane? "In 1962 and then lasting for many years [3] .
Buckingham Palace
On February 28, 2017, the FX channel extended the series for the second season of 10 episodes, which was called “Buckingham Palace” [4] . The plot was supposed to focus on the relationship between Prince Charles and Princess Diana , and the premiere was expected in 2019, [5] but in August 2018 it was announced that the script was rejected.

Production
Ryan Murphy’s series was officially commissioned by FX on May 5, 2016; On the same day, it was announced that the leading roles would be played by Jessica Lang and Susan Sarandon . Alfred Molina , Stanley Tucci , Judy Davis, and Dominic Burgess received the roles of Robert Aldrich , Jack Warner , Hedda Hopper, and Victor Buono, respectively [1] . In August 2016, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Sarah Paulson joined the cast in the roles of Olivia de Havilland and Geraldine Page, respectively [14] [15] [16] [17] . In September 2016, it became known that the executive producer of “ American Horror Story ” Tim Mineir became a co-show runner with Murphy. Jackie Hoffman got the role of Mamasita, the housekeeper Crawford [18] . In November 2016, it became known that Molly Price , Katie Bates and Alison Wright got the roles of Harriet Foster, Joan Blondell and Pauline Jamison respectively [19] [20] [21] . In January 2017, it was announced that Kirnan Shipka would play the role of B. D. Hymen , daughter of Davis [22] .
