Grigory Andreyevich Melnik (born January 23, 1909 in the village of Dedovschina in the Kiev province - d. December 23, 1976 ) was a Soviet party leader of Ukrainian descent, 1st secretary of the Semipalatinsk Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan (1951-1953).

From 1927 he was a librarian, later a secretary of the district committee of the rural poor in Fastov , a student of the working faculty at the Kiev Mining and Geological Institute, and in 1933 he studied at this institute.
Since 1930 - in the CPSU (b) , inspector of the executive committee of the district council, member of the propaganda group of the Central Committee of Komsomol , in 1933-1939. - Assistant, deputy chief and head of the political department of the state farm.
In 1945-1948 - 1st Secretary of the North Kazakhstan Regional Committee KP (b) K,
in 1948-1951 studied at the Higher Party School under the Central Committee of the CPSU (b),
in 1951-1953 - 1st Secretary of the Semipalatinsk Regional Committee KP (b) K / KPK,
from May 1953 to 1954 - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR ,
in 1954-1956 - Minister of Agriculture of the Kazakh SSR,
in 1956-1957 - student courses at the Central Committee of the CPSU,
from March 1957 to January 1958 - 1st Secretary of the Tselinograd Regional Committee of the CPC,
in 1957-1959 - Secretary of the CPC Central Committee.
In 1959-1963 - 1st Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR,
in 1962-1963 - Minister of Production and Stocks of Agricultural Products of the Kazakh SSR,
in 1963-1964 - Chairman of the Bureau of the CPC Central Committee for Land Administration,
in 1963-1971 - Secretary of the CPC Central Committee again.
Member of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of the 6th convocation.
