Zoran Djordjic ( Serb. Zoran Öorђiћ ; born October 15, 1966 , аabac ) is a Serbian handball player who played as a goalkeeper and played for Partizan clubs (Belgrade), Olympic Chamber Chamber Stud, MT Melsungen , Hamburg Group of Companies . Father of handball player Petar Djordjic .

Career

Club

Zoran Djordjic began his professional career at the Yugoslav clubs Metaloplastika (Šabac) and Partizan (Belgrade). In 1993, Djordic played for the Vitrolle club, and in 1995 transferred to the Olympic Chambery Stud. In 1997, Zoran Djordjic transferred to the German Wallau / Masenheim, where he performed for 8 years. In 2005, Zoran Djordic became a player in the Melsungen club, and in 2007 transferred to Wetzlar. In 2012, Zoran Djordic played for the German club Hamburg due to the fact that goalkeeper Johannes Bitter had a knee injury [1] .

Team

Zoran Djordjic played for the national team of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and played 128 matches for it. Bronze medalist of the 1996 European Championships, 1999 and 2001 World Championships.

Coach Career

In 2009, Zoran Djordic was the acting “Wetzlar” after the dismissal of Volker Mudrov , since he received a coaching license a year ago. He held a coaching post during the season, until Michael Roth was appointed coach . In April 2018, he became a coach of the Kielce club goalkeepers [2] .
