History
The village was founded by immigrants from the city of Chernavsk on Bystraya Pine at the end of the 17th century . The settlers were small service men, who later turned into the ranks of single homesteads, and then state peasants.
The name of the village comes from the name of the river Muravlyanka, which flows into Potudan. The name of the river comes either from the word "ant" - grass, or from the word "burovlyanka" - so called small streams, as if "drilled" the thickness of the earth. There was another name for the village - Gudayevka, by the name of the log “Gudaev Log”, in the lower part of which the village is located.
According to the first revision of 1719, there were 21 courtyards in Ust-Muravlyanka. According to the “reviz fairy tale” of 1795, 341 people lived in Ust-Muravlyanka, the names are listed: Semenov, Dutov, Prokudin, Polukhin, Golev and others. The dynamics of the development of the village can be traced from the available data on the number of yards: 1719 - 21 yards, 1746 - 19 yards, 1900 - 134 yards, 1906 - 162 yards and 1274 inhabitants. By 1906, there were a church, a parish school, three public buildings, two small and one wine shops, and a small brick building in the village. In 1913, the Zemstvo school was opened.
