Biography
Born on April 6, 1957 in the village of Podlyasovo, Zubovo-Polyansky District, Mordovian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic [1] .
In 1999 he graduated from the Moscow Institute of National and Regional Relations [2] with a degree in State Law [1] .
Since December 4, 2011, a deputy of the State Duma. Member of the political party A Just Russia. First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Transport. Member of the State Duma commission on parliamentary ethics [2] .
In 2016, he ran for the State Duma of the Russian Federation of the VII convocation from the party " Fair Russia " in the 219 Sevastopol single-member constituency, the city of Sevastopol, but was not elected. [3]
