Molodova V is a multi-layered parking on the right bank of the Dniester in the Goly Shchovb tract, near the village of Bratanovka, Sokiryansky district, Chernivtsi region of Ukraine . It has 20 cultural layers ( Moustier - Late Paleolithic ), dates from 60-50 to 10 thousand years ago. The Mousterian strata are characterized by the Levallois-Mousterian type industry. The main object of hunting was a mammoth .
In the Late Paleolithic layers, except for flint products, the remains of residential complexes are recorded. The stone industry (prismatic technology, dominance of incisors, scrapers , microplates, gravett points and blunted edges) is definitely gravity . A diverse collection consists of bone and horn products: dart tips, hoes , hammers , straighteners, awls and the like. There are works of art: jewelry, fragments of anthropomorphic sculpture. The most original among them is a reindeer antler flute . The fauna is represented by reindeer bones.
The remains of woolly rhinoceros were found in the early Mesolithic layer 1a of Molodov V site [1] .
