Biography

Origin and education

He was born in a hereditary noble family that belonged to the Moscow branch of the ancient Ivanchin-Pisarev family.

Grandfather - second major Ivan Mikhailovich Ivanchin-Pisarev for three consecutive terms from 1785 to 1794 was elected by the Bronnitsky nobles to the position of county judge [2] . Father - Lieutenant Mikhail Ivanovich Ivanchin-Pisarev for 1801 1803 was elected as an assessor of the Bronnitsky Lower Zemsky Court [3] , and later - as a captain .

February 28, 1818 A.M. Ivanchin-Pisarev was admitted to the Naval Cadet Corps . In 1819 he was made into midshipmen. He graduated from the corps with the midshipman on March 1, 1822.

Start of Service

He served in the 7th naval carriage . In 1824 he was appointed commander of the Finnish customs yacht [4] . In June 1826 he sailed the Baltic Sea on the flagship of Admiral R.V. Crown, “Prince Vladimir” [~ 1] .

He was on friendly terms with members of the circle of military sailors who made up the society of officers of the Guards crew , participated in general discussions on political topics [5] . According to one of the founders of this society, A. P. Belyaev - “ Pisarev, who loved me very much, was the one over whom we made some influence ... If Pisarev is unhappy, then this is a sin on my soul ... ”.

Investigation on December 14, 1825

In his confession, midshipman V. A. Divov wrote that “ midshipman Pisarev often visited us, with whom we spoke about freedom. Recently, I began to correspond with him; in one of my letters, when the sovereign died, I wrote to him: So we said that with the death of the sovereign there will be a revolution. So it happened, but there is nothing, everything from what they just say, but do nothing. ... and he answered me in the same vein . "

After the arrest, A. P. Belyaev, who read this response letter, asked Divov, " ... whether the letter was burned by Pisarev, or it will destroy you and him ."

Midshipman A.M. Ivanchin-Pisarev, who did not directly participate in the events of December 14, 1825, was among 110 persons punished in administrative (non-judicial) order whose cases were not referred to the Supreme Criminal Court, since their involvement in the events 14 December 1825 was not proved or was recognized by the investigators as insignificant [6] [1] [7] [~ 2] .

In the "Borovkov Alphabet" it is noted that according to the report of the commission of inquiry of the midshipman of the 7th naval crew A.M. Ivanchin-Pisarev, " on July 13, the highest command was to transfer to Arkhangelsk in order to be in the service there under the watchful supervision of superiors ."

Service in the White and Baltic Seas

In Arkhangelsk, Ivanchin-Pisarev met M.F. Reineke [~ 3] , who was entrusted with the inventory of the White Sea and the leadership of the expeditionary squad of ships consisting of the Lapominka brig and two schooners. At the suggestion of Reinecke, the warrant midshipman was included in the expedition states. Hydrographic work in the White Sea continued in the years 1827-1830. Reinecke praised the dedication and “ rare and vigorous zeal ” of Ivanchin-Pisarev. February 22, 1828 he was promoted to lieutenant. In the summer of 1830, during the absence of Reineke, he acted as commander of the Lapominki. In accordance with the positive certification - “ good behavior, good morality ” - A. M. Ivanchin-Pisarev in May 1831 was transferred to the 26th naval crew in Sveaborg , but when, after several months, he received leave from his father’s death to clean up the family estate of the village of Chaplygin (previously - Cheplygino) Bronnitsy district, Moscow province, the Moscow military governor-General DV Golitsyn was instructed to "establish for lieutenant Ivanchina-Pisarev secret surveillance during his stay in the designated county " [8] . In 1833-1834 he cruised in the Baltic Sea on the ship Kronstadt and on the military steamship Hercules. On February 24, 1837 he was dismissed from service in the 12th naval carriage with the rank of captain-lieutenant for " determination to state affairs ."

He died in 1847. He was buried in the village of Chaplygin near the church built by his father [9] .

Memory

The chairman of the Decembrist section of the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg K. E. Kuznetsova wrote: “ In the final works of the White Sea expedition -“ Atlas of the White Sea ”(1833) and in the two-volume“ Hydrographic Description of the North Shore of Russia ”M. F. Reinecke (1850) - there is a mite and a lieutenant (since 1828) Aleksei Mikhailovich Ivanchin-Pisarev ” [10] .

In 1833, in honor of the hydrograph sailor, expedition partners in the White Sea named Cape Pisareva , the northeastern tip of Nelidov Island, located in Pakhtusov Bay on the South Island of Novaya Zemlya [11] .
