Biography
Born on November 4, 1937 in Krasnodar . My father worked as a turner at the highest level at the October plant, and his mother worked as a nurse at the First City Hospital.
After serving in the army in 1958 he entered the Krasnodar Art School, which he graduated in 1963 . He worked as a painter , a worker at construction sites. In 1965 he went to Leningrad, where for several years he was a volunteer at the Leningrad State Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E. Repin at the faculty of painting in the workshop of the USSR People's Artist A. Mylnikov .
In 1968 he returned to Krasnodar. He became a participant in a major exhibition of the country with the watercolor "Fresh Wind".
Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1975 .
The first solo exhibition was held in 1982 in Moscow .
Most of his life he lived in Krasnodar. He worked on creative cottages - in the Hot Key , "Academic". I went to Gelendzhik , to my dacha in Sochi . Together with Valentin Mordvinov, the national artist of the RSFSR, he traveled to the North, and together they visited Kabardino-Balkaria .
In 1990, he left for Greece for six years. He worked in Bulgaria ( Karlovo , Plovdiv , Sozopol , Varna ) and in Cyprus .
He died on December 2, 2006 in Krasnodar.
Creativity
He was a master of landscape and still life. Also wrote portraits. In recent years, he worked in the style of abstract art. The landscapes depicted the South-Russian nature.
In addition to painting, he was engaged in graphics, stained glass, monumental painting, collage, ceramics [1] .
In addition, he wrote poems: there are dozens of unpublished poems.
Works are presented in the Krasnodar Regional Art Museum. F. Kovalenko [2] , the Krasnodar Regional Exhibition Hall of Fine Arts [3] , the Sochi Art Museum, the Stepanovs' Timashevsk Museum, the Korenovsk Art Gallery, the Krasnodar Territory Educational Institutions, the Charles Duke Art Gallery, the National Gallery of France, the Russian representation in the Vatican, private collections in Russia and abroad [4] .
