Palchik ( Belor. Palchyk ) is a village in the Chervensky district of the Minsk region. It is part of the Cherven village council . Until October 30, 2009, it was a member of the Grebenetsky village council [1] .

It is located about 9 km from the district center, 20 km from the railway station Pukhovichi .

History

The village was founded in the XVIII century. At that time, she was part of the Minsk Voivodeship of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania . After the second division of the Commonwealth - as part of the Russian Empire . Since 1793, the village became part of the estate of Pukhovichi , which belonged to Sulustrovsky. According to the census of 1897, the Selib of the Klinok volost of the Igumen district of the Minsk province, there were 36 yards, 216 residents (taking into account the tract Podpalchik, where there were 3 yards and 27 inhabitants, 39 yards and 243 residents). Functioned a grocery store. At the beginning of the XX century, the village, where there were 44 courtyards and 208 inhabitants. In 1917, the village, where there are 43 courtyards and 258 inhabitants. At the same time, a first-level working school was opened, where in 1922 there were 35 students, there was a library. During the Great Patriotic War , the partisan brigades “Red Flag” (Chirvony Ssyag), 1st Minsk and the brigade named after the newspaper Pravda [2] operated in the village area.
