Klöpper, Albert

Albert Klöpper ( German: Albert Heinrich Ernst Klöpper ; March 20, 1828 , Weitenhagen - November 27, 1905 , Koenigsberg ) - German Protestant theologian . The son of Friedrich Wilhelm Klöpper, also a theologian ^[1] .

He studied theology in 1847 - 1851 . in Greifswald and Berlin , in 1853 he defended his thesis “On the Origin of the Epistles to the Colossians and Ephesians ” ( lat. De origine Epistolarum ad Ephesios et Colossenses, etc. ) ^[2] . In 1858 he was rehabilitated .

From 1866 he worked in Königsberg as a supervisor of the university library, since 1875 he was a professor of New Testament theology.

He published a number of works mainly devoted to the Apostolic Epistles, in particular, the “ Exegetical and Critical Study of the Second Epistle to the Corinthians of the Apostle Paul” ( German: Exegetisch kritische Untersuchungen über den zweiten Brief des Paulus an die Gemeinde zu Korinth ; Göttingen, 1869) to the Second Epistle to the Corinthians of the Apostle Paul "( German Kommentar über das zweite Sendschreiben des Apostels Paulus an die Gemeinde zu Korinth ; Berlin, 1874), the book" Epistle to the Colossians, his critical study, exegetical and biblical study of his relationship to the teachings of Paul " ( German: Der Brief an die Kolosser k ritisch untersucht und in seinem Verhältnisse zum Paulinischen Lehrbegriff exegetisch und biblisch-theologisch erörtert ; Berlin, 1882) and others.
