Final
The main competitions in women's pole vault took place on July 9, 2016. Two participants overcame a height of 4.70 m: the leader of the European season, Ekaterina Stefanidi (on the first try) and Lisa Ryzhikh (on the second). Having secured a silver medal, the German woman refused to continue the struggle. Stefanidi in the rank of the winner set a new record for the European Championships - 4.81 m [3] .
