Biography
Born on October 14, 1984 in the city of Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region . At the age of eight, she began to engage in foil fencing. In 1999, she switched to a saber. In 2001 she received the title of Master of Sports of Ukraine. The first coach is Valery Shturbabin . [one]
In 2004, she performed at the Olympic Games in Athens , where she lost already at the first stage to the French athlete Cecil Argiole 9:15, taking the final 21st place.
In 2005, as part of the Ukrainian team, she won the “bronze” of the European Championship (along with Olga Harlan , Elena Khomrova and Galina Pundik ). In the same year, Daria received the title of Master of Sports of the international class in fencing.
In 2007, she ended her sports career due to an injury. After finishing her career, she worked at the National Fencing Federation of Ukraine. In 2012, she was a commentator at the First National during the fencing competitions at the Olympic Games .
In 2007 she graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv , majoring in Economic Cybernetics.
