Born April 9, 1987 in the United States ( Philadelphia ). The debut album Fearless (2008) and the performer received 5 nominations, including in the Best Contemporary R&B Album categories, Best Female Vocal R&B Performance ("Need U Bad"), Best New Artist , Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance ("In Love With Another Man ”), Best R&B Song (“ Bust Your Windows ”). Vibe magazine named the album one of the top 10 in 2008 (Ten Best Albums of 2008) [11] .
Reality Show (2015) received a total of 3 Grammy nominations . In addition to the album nomination ( Best R&B album in ), one of the album’s songs (“ Let It Burn ”) received two nominations in the categories Best R&B Song and Best Traditional R&B Performance [12] .
