Martin Bouquet ( Fr. Martin Bouquet ; August 6, 1685 , Amiens - April 6, 1754 ) - French scholar and librarian , Benedictine monk of the congregation of St. Moor , religious scholar , philologist , historian.

In 1706 he took tonsure at the monastery of Mo. He was a Benedictine monk of the Abbey of Saint-Maurice , later, was appointed librarian of Saint-Germain-des-Prés , in whose collection at that time there were 60,000 books and 8,000 manuscripts.
He took part in the research work of Bernard de Monfocon . Being well versed in ancient Greek, Buka helped his brother Bernard in the publication of the works of John Chrysostom . He himself was preparing a new edition of the Jewish historian Josephus .
Beginning in 1738, he published the first eight volumes of a large collection entitled “Rerum gallicarum and francicarum Scriptores,” which many other scholars continued after his death.
"Rerum gallicarum and francicarum Scriptores" is a collection of valuable historical documents of Gaul and France, which covers the time from the early history of France to 987 .
A street in Amiens is named after Martin Bouquet.
