Fritz Bondroit ( March 26, 1912 ; Herford, Germany - September 19, 1974 ) is a former German canoe player . He took part in kayaking and canoeing competitions in the 1930s. Member of the 1936 Summer Olympics .

Sporting Achievements
Fritz Bondroit played for the German canoe club Herford. At the beginning of his athletic career in 1934 and 1935, he won the German Kayak and Canoe Championships, performing a canoe double with teammate Ewald Tilker at a distance of 1000 meters.
At the European Championships in 1934 in Copenhagen, Bondroit was also the first in this discipline. In 1935, Tilker and Bondroit were again the first in the K-2 discipline at a distance of 1000 meters, but in 1936 they lost to athletes Willy Horn and Erich Hanish, taking second place.
Fritz Bondroit took part in rowing and canoeing competitions at the 1936 Summer Olympics . At the Olympics, he won a silver medal in the K-2 discipline at a distance of 1000 meters with his partner Ewald Tilker .
