History
The former monastery buildings include the carriage shed next to the church, which houses a small but rich parish museum with valuable exhibits. There you will see a collection of church and liturgical vestments, as well as an exhibition of regional Kashubian embroidery. After all, Zhukovo is the cradle of Kashubian embroidery, the traditions of which go back centuries. The monastery school for girls taught needlework, sewing, writing, and embroidery, known today as the Kashubian embroidery of the Zhukovsky school. She adorned, in particular, bonnets and liturgical vestments. Not far from the monastery complex is a complex of watermills on Raduni, the history of which begins in the thirteenth century. It was founded by Zhukovsky Norbertinki. Over the centuries, he was repeatedly rebuilt, came to us in the form given to him in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
