Koshkele ( Latvian: Košķele ) is a settlement in the Burtnieki region of Latvia . It is part of the Vezat volost . According to 2007 data, 69 people lived in the village [1] .

History
In Soviet times, the settlement was called Austrumi and was part of the Vecatsky village council of the Valmiera region . In the village was the state farm "Austrumi" [2] .
The foreman of the farm "Austrumi" Jacob Aboltin in 1966 was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor [3] .
