Biography
Born in March 1913 in St. Petersburg .
He graduated from the Leningrad Correspondence Institute of the Metalworking Industry (1938) [1] .
- Work
- 1930-1936 - designer at the Promet factory (Leningrad)
- 1936-1941 - Head of the Design Department at Plant No. 7 (Leningrad)
- 1941-1942 Senior Design Engineer NII-13 NKV ( Leningrad , Molotov )
- From May 1942 to March 1947, the head of the group, the head of the department of SKB NKV ( Kolomna ).
Since 1947, he again worked in Leningrad at the NII-13.
One of the creators of the Soviet mortars RM-50, BM-82, GVPM-107, PM-120, its simplified version of the 1941 model. He supervised the work on the creation of the first prototype of the SKB-21 160-mm mortar with breech loading and obturation of powder gases in the bore using a plastic shutter.
Awards and Prizes
- Stalin Prize of the first degree (1942) - for the development of mortar designs
- Order of the Red Star (1942)
- Order of the Patriotic War I degree (1945).
