Mauro, Massimo

Massimo Mauro ( Italian: Massimo Mauro , May 24, 1962 , Catanzaro ) is an Italian footballer who played as a midfielder . At the end of his playing career, he was a sports functionary, politician [2] and sports journalist [3] . In the late 1990s, he was president of the Genoa Football Club [4] .

Club career

A pupil of the football school of the Catanzaro club. He began his adult football career in 1979 in the main team of the same club, in which he spent three seasons, taking part in 58 championship matches.
