Manfred Höner ( German: Manfred Höner ) is a German football coach and functionary. He headed the national team of Nigeria , which became the finalist of the 1988 African Cup of Nations . As a coach of the Olympic team of Nigeria, he participated in the 1988 Olympic Games .

Biography
From 1987 to 1989 he led the national team of Nigeria [1] . In March 1988, he led the Nigerians at the African Cup of Nations in Morocco. Nigeria was able to reach the finals, but in the decisive game lost to Cameroon with a minimum score (0: 1) [2] .
In September 1988, Hoener was the head coach of the Nigeria Olympic team , which took part in the Seoul Summer Olympics . In their group, the Nigerians took the last fourth place, losing to Yugoslavia , Australia and Brazil [3] .
In 1991, he headed the German club Eintracht from the city of Trier, who played in the Oberlig South-West . In 2001, he worked for the Costa Rican National Olympic Committee [4] . In 2004, he was the director of the Qatar Football Federation [5] .
