“Life” ( French Une Vie ) is a French-Belgian dramatic film directed by Stephen Breeze based on the novel by Guy de Maupassant . The world premiere of the tape took place on September 6, 2016 at the Venice Film Festival [1] . The film tells about the naive 17-year-old girl Jeanne, who marries the impoverished nobleman Julien, who needs only her money.
