Geography

It is located between the rivers Fiagdon (left) and Mayramadag (right), 12 km southeast of the regional center of Ardon and 22 km northwest of Vladikavkaz .

History

The village was founded in 1922 by settlers from the villages of Dallagkau, Barzikau, Lac and Hidikus in the Kurtatin Gorge [2] .
