Elizabeth Mecheler-Jones (born April 30, 1966 in Augsburg ) is a slalom canoe athlete from West Germany .

Sporting Achievements
Elizabeth Micheler-Jones participated in rowing slalom competitions from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s.
She participated in rowing slalom competitions at the two summer Olympic Games . She won a gold medal in the discipline K-1 at the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992 .
Micheler Jones also won four medals at the World Canoe Slalom Championships organized by the International Canoe Federation, including two gold medals (K-1 discipline: 1991 in the team event, K-1 team: 1987 in the team event, West Germany ) and two bronze medals (K-1: 1987, Germany, K; -1 team: 1995 Germany). At the 1996 European Championships in Augsburg, she won a silver medal in the K-1 discipline in the team event.
Her husband, Melvyn Jones from the UK , finished seventh in K-1 at the 1992 Summer Olympics .
