He is considered the father of Milanese literature of the early modern times .
From 1664 he occupied the professorship at the University of Milan , later was a professor and rector of the University of Pavia .

Biography
Born in an ancient Milanese family, dealers in clothing and fabrics.
At the age of 17 he entered the Faculty of Law of the University of Bologna , in 1649 received a degree in civil and canon law.
He made long trips to Rome , Florence , Naples and Venice . He worked as secretary of the senate.
He was one of the first members of the Academy "Arcadia" in 1690, a member of the Academy della Kruska .
Creativity
He wrote his works in the Milanese dialect of the West Lombard language .
