Content
History
Handball club Tatran from Presov, was created in 1952. Tatran played in the championship of Czechoslovakia and won the championship of Czechoslovakia three times, in 1969, in 1971 and in 1993 [1] [2] . He won the Czechoslovak Cup in 1971, 1974, 1975, 1976 [2] and the Slovak Cup in 1971, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1978, 1981, 1982. [2] After the collapse of Czechoslovakia Tatran (Presov) performs in the Slovak championship. In the first season of the Slovak Handball Championship, Tatran took 2nd place. The first championship of Slovakia Tatran Presov won in the 2003/04 season, and the next season he repeated the success. Since 2006, Tatran Presov became the champion of Slovakia 9 times in a row. Since 2011 he has been playing in the SEXA League. Twice at the end of the season, he took 4th place in the seasons 2011/12 and 2013/14.
