History
Atash Otar was founded by an Akkin named Atash. [one]
According to Berger [2] , there were two settlements of the same name: one in Ichkeria on the right bank of the Aksai river above Gerzel aul , which ceased to exist by the 1850s, and the inhabitants moved partly to the Kumyk plane , partly further to the mountains beyond the Yaman River su ; the second on the left side of the Yaman-su river in Aukha as a pre-existing settlement [3] .
The farm was liquidated in 1930, the inhabitants of the farm were partly resettled in the nearest settlements, and partly repressed. [one] The name of the Chechen farm means “Atasha farm” [4] .
