Description
The temple is located in the private sector of Lining. The temple is quite massive, but not too high, so it is poorly visible from afar. The temple is seven-domed, has three entrances (north, south and west) with a small bell tower at the west entrance. The walls are plastered, painted white, all domes are silver onion domes with poppies and golden crosses. From all sides the temple building has ledges: large rectangular from the north, south and west and semicircular from the east. The main entrance to the temple is northern, the rest are closed on public holidays. The territory of the temple is fenced with an old metal fence and has only one exit - to Lesnaya street.
Epiphany Church
On the territory of the temple, to the north of it is a small one-domed Epiphany church. The small church is also white and also with a bulbous but blue dome on a round base. The only entrance to the church building is on the west side, at the entrance there is a small porch with a pitched roof. The windows are arched, with keeled ends up. From the east there is a small rounded ledge for the altar.
History
A large stone church in honor of the Resurrection of Christ was founded in 1992 on the initiative of the Archbishop of Yekaterinburg and Verkhotursky Melchizedek. Construction was slow, mainly due to lack of funds, but it was still completed. The construction of the church was supported by philanthropists and soldiers of the military unit, which spiritually was nurtured by the rector of the Resurrection Church, Archpriest Konstantin Yanovich. In 2007, three domes were installed on the temple, and on August 4, 2008 the Church of the Resurrection of Christ was crowned with four more domes with the installation of side church poppies. The Resurrection Church gained its finished appearance and grandeur. Church dummies were made at the company Composite LLC, and their installation was completed by the construction company Trest-88. The external construction was completed, and before the end of 2008, the internal finishing work was also completed.
