History

The village of Kilmuya is taken into account by the regional administrative data from January 1, 1956 as part of the Pyalyinsky village council of the Kapshinsky district .

Since 1963, as part of the Tikhvin region [2] .

According to the data of 1966 and 1973, the village of Kilmuya was part of the Pyalyinsky village council of the Tikhvin region [3] [4] .

According to 1990, the village of Kilmuya was part of the Shugozersky village council [5] .

In 1997, 89 people lived in the village of Kilmuya of the Shugozersky volost, in 2002 - 96 people (Russians - 96%) [6] [7] .

In 2007, 82 people lived in the village of Kilmuya of the Shugozyorsk joint venture , in 2010 - 72 [8] [9] .

Geography

The village is located in the north-eastern part of the district on the highway 41K-019 ( Gankovo - Yavshinitsy ).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 20 km [8] .

The distance to the nearest railway station is Tikhvin - 84 km [3] .

The village is located on the right bank of the Bolshaya Pyalitsa River .
