Knabenschiessen shooting competitions ( German: Knabenschiessen , literally Boyish Shooting ) - the annual target shooting competition in Zurich , Switzerland [1] . The traditions of this holiday go back to the 16th century. From time immemorial only boys were allowed to him. Since 1991, girls have also been participating. Preparing for it, teenagers took an initial course of shooting, and at the festival they could demonstrate their accuracy and ability to use weapons. Nowadays, the most accurate shooter receives the main prize - 5 thousand francs.
