Ibrahim Abduraskievich Ozdoev (1905-1983) - Soviet linguist . The author of dictionaries and textbooks of the Ingush language. It is considered the founder of Ingush philology [1] .

Biography
He was the son of illiterate parents, who, however, educated their children [1] . He studied at the pedagogical college in Vladikavkaz . He prepared the dissertation “The work of the teacher of the native language”. In 1938 he headed the Chechen-Ingush Institute for Advanced Teachers . In 1940 he was appointed first instructor of the regional committee, and then head of the sector of the Chechen-Ingush Research Institute of History, Russian Language and Literature. During the Second World War he fought, was wounded, was captured in 1943. In 1945 he was liberated by the Allies [2] .
Until 1957 he was in exile in Kazakhstan , where his family had previously been sent. After returning, he defended his dissertation in philology at the Institute of Linguistics of the Georgian SSR Academy of Sciences. He alone and in collaboration with other researchers published more than three dozen major works on linguistics, including short and complete Russian-Ingush dictionaries, which have become classic, the spelling dictionary of the Ingush language . Died in 1983. His son Ramis worked a lot with his father’s scientific heritage.
Rewards
He was awarded an honorary diploma of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, Order of the Patriotic War of the II degree, and the medal “ For Valiant Labor ”.
