History

October 2, 1896 - the opening of the Women's Paramedic School. The director was appointed the first sanitary doctor of Russia I.I. Molleson . The organization of the school was facilitated by the support of well-known public and business leaders of Count A. D. Nesselrode, a merchant, A. V. Chirikhina, who provided her own building, located on Moskovskaya St., 20, for temporary placement of the school [1] .

1899 - a building for the school was built, designed by architect A. N. Salko (corner of Radishchev and Chernyshevsky), thanks to the active participation of the famous doctor M. V. Volkov and donations [2] .

June 1900 - the first issue of paramedics was produced.

1902 - The women's feldsher school was renamed the midwifery school with a four-year course of study and a new Regulation [3] .

1904 - Sanitary guardianship was established in Saratov and an extensive cholera control program was developed. Pupils of the Saratov feldsher-midwife school were involved as assistants to the Zemstvo doctors. [four]

March 10 - 13, 1905 - in the midst of the first Russian revolution , public meetings of the Sanitary Society were held at the school, chaired by Dr. A. Romanov

1909 - the school building became the basis for the Saratov State University, created in 1909.

December 6, 1909 - the grand opening of the Saratov State University in the building of the Women's Paramedic School took place [5] .

September 17, 1910 - P. A. Stolypin was in Saratov and visited the university, which was still in the premises of the feldsher school.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the school was managed by: A.N. Mil from 1907, and A.E. Romanov from 1912. With the opening of the Faculty of Medicine of the Saratov State University in Saratov, many professors, as well as assistants, became teachers of the school, and Professor Chuevsky I.A. since 1922 he became the principal of the school.

1914-1915 - according to the circular of the Main Medical Directorate in March, an accelerated graduation of fourth-year students in the amount of 58 people took place, who passed the exams and received the title of paramedic - midwives of the first category. In the school building during the First World War, Infirmary No. 13 was located.

December 1914 - at the suggestion of the Chief Medical Inspector, they went to eliminate the typhus epidemic in the city of Balashov and at st. Rtishchevo, Ryazan - Ural Railway.

1920 - the school was reorganized into the Saratov Medical College, which until 1926 was called the "Obstetric College", as it consisted of one obstetric department.

1926/1927 academic year - the school of nursing teachers, organized in Saratov in 1922, was included in the technical school, as a department. Thus, the educational institution in the specified period consisted of two departments: nurses and obstetric. The educational institution was located in a building on the street. Big Kostrizhnoy (now St. Sacco and Vanzetti ).

1928 - the Dental College joins the educational institution as a department. In 1928, the school was reorganized again into the feldsher-midwife school, which included three departments: feldsher, obstetric, and dental. However, her situation at that time was very unstable. The school for a long time did not have its own building: from the premises on the street. Chernyshevsky , where she occupied only two rooms of the chemical building of Saratov University, she was transferred to a small building on the street. Bolshaya Kostrizhnaya, 5, after 2-3 years she was placed in one of the buildings of the 2nd Soviet Hospital, then in a small building on the street. Gypsy St. 20 (now Kutyakova St.), and after some time was again transferred to the building on the street. Gorky d.15, where she was until 1938 [6] .

1933 - 1934 - a dental clinic, dental laboratory, chemical and physical rooms were organized.

1938 - The feldsher-midwife school moves to a new building on ul. Volsky d.6 ..

During the war years, the feldsher-midwife school consisted of four departments: feldsher, obstetric-feldsher, nursing and medical laboratory. During the war years, the school graduated 1,510 mid-level medical workers.

In the first years after World War II, the school was one of the largest medical schools in the Soviet Union. The average annual graduation was 1,500 nurses. Under the direction of the director of the Austrian V.P. 87 teachers worked.

Since 1949 , the school recruited one group of dentists with a training period of 2 years 10 months and a group of dental technicians with a training period of 1 year 10 months under the supervision of the school principal S. O. Nesvizhsky.

1956 - the educational institution was reorganized into the Saratov Regional Medical School (director V. N. Kashirin). The contingent of the school reaches up to 1000-1200 specialists in six profiles: paramedic, obstetric, sanitary-paramedical, dental, dental, pharmaceutical.

In the 70s, the school moved from the street. Volskaya d. 6 in the building on the street. Chernyshevsky 151. From 1977 - to 1984. the director of the educational institution becomes Arishin Victor Georgievich; Deputy Director for Academic Affairs - Aleksandrina Smorodinova.

From 1985 to 2015 the head of the educational institution was Alekseev Evgeny Anatolyevich; Deputy Director for Academic Affairs Klochkovsky Alexander Yuryevich.

1996 - the educational institution was reorganized into the Saratov Regional Basic Medical College, coordinating the work of medical colleges and regional schools.

2005 - a cooperation agreement was concluded with the Saratov Orthodox Diocese on the training of sisters of mercy . The medical education of the pupil of the Training Center of the Sisters of Mercy in the name of the Martyr Grand Duchess Elizabeth is received at the educational institution. Students of the Training Center receive spiritual education on the basis of the Saratov Orthodox Theological Seminary . Upon graduation, the graduates of the Center are issued a state diploma in the specialty "Nurse".

Since 2015, the head of the State Autonomous Professional Educational Institution of the Saratov Region "Saratov Regional Basic Medical College" has been Igor Morozov, a doctor of the highest qualification category, candidate of medical sciences. Deputy for academic work - Tomashevskaya Irina Yuryevna. The educational process is carried out by more than 100 full-time teachers. College admits about 400 people annually

Since 2006 , in the structure of GAPOU SB “SOBMK” there has been a branch of continuing education , which carries out activities to improve the qualifications and retrain specialists with higher and secondary education.

Since 2016, vocational training programs have been implemented at the continuing education department in the following professions: medical registrar, medical disinfector, nursing staff.

Since September 1, 2016 , on the basis of the college, work has been organized on retraining and advanced training in the profile of pedagogical activity .
