Sporting Achievements

Rüdiger Hubbers has been participating in kayaking and canoeing competitions since the 1990s.

He won a bronze medal in the discipline S-2 (team classification) at the World Championships in rowing slalom, organized by the International Canoe Federation in 1995 in Nottingham . He won a gold medal in the discipline S-2 (team classification) in 1996 at the European Championships in Augsburg .

At the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, he took 14th place in the S-2 discipline.

His partner throughout his active sports career was Udo Rauman .
