Geography
The village is located about 12 km south-west of the district center on the left bank of the Pronya River .
History
The village of Perkino was first mentioned in the scribe book of Prince Lvov in 1629 [2] .
In 1905, the village was the administrative center of the Perkinsky volost of the Spassky district of the Ryazan province and had 326 yards with a population of 2,067 people [3] .

Transport and Communications
To the south of the village is the platform of the Perkino Moscow Railway on the line Ryazan I - Ruzayevka .
