Voyage of Time is an American documentary filmed by Terrence Malik . The world premiere of the tape took place on September 7, 2016 at the Venice Film Festival . The film tells about the universe - from its birth to destruction. The film was released in two versions with different names: the 40-minute Voyage of Time: The IMAX Experience for IMAX theaters and the 90-minute Voyage of Time: Life's Journey for the ordinary. The Russian version of the film was released on March 30, 2017.

Production
The first steps in producing the film were taken in the late 1970s, when Terrence Malik developed a project called “Q” for Paramount , which spoke about the origin of life on Earth [1] . The main scientific adviser to the film was Andrew Knoll [2] .

Reviews
The film for IMAX was received favorably by critics, while the full-length version received controversial reviews: 92% on Rotten Tomatoes in the 40-minute version and 62% in the hour and a half.
