Biography
From 1929 to 1937 he worked on the farm "Red Avant-garde" Suchansky district of Primorsky Territory. After the deportation of the Koreans, he was determined for special settlement in the Karmakchinsky district of the Kyzyl-Orda region, the Kazakh SSR. He worked as an ordinary collective farmer, a link in the rice-growing link, and as deputy chairman of the collective farm “III International” of Karmakchinsky district.
In 1949, the rice-growing unit, in which Ban Moon Guk worked, collected an average of 82.7 centners of rice from each hectare on a plot of 5 hectares. For these outstanding labor achievements, he was awarded the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of June 21, 1950, the title of Hero of Socialist Labor.
From 1950 to 1957 - Deputy Chairman of the collective farm. In 1958, he headed the rice-growing brigade, which in the same year collected 50 centners of rice per hectare with an average collective farm harvest of 40 centners.
