Tarnogród ( Polish: Tarnogród ; Ukrainian: Ternogorod ) is a city in Poland , part of the Lublin Voivodeship , Bilgoraj County . It has the status of urban-rural commune. It covers an area of 10.86 km². The population is 3.372 people (as of 2005 ). This small city was given historical fame by the Tarnogrod Confederation convened in it on November 26, 1715 .
