Luzhki (Serpukhov district)

Luzhki - a village in Serpukhov district of the Moscow region . It is part of the Dankovsky rural settlement (until November 29, 2006 was part of the Buturlinsky rural district ) [2] .

Geography

Meadows are located approximately 12 km (along the highway) [5] southeast of Serpukhov , on the left bank of the Oka [6] [7] , the height of the center of the village above sea level is 119 m [8] .

Current State

In 2016, 15 streets and 6 garden associations were registered in the village [9] . Meadows are connected by bus service with the district center and the neighboring settlements [10] .

The Trinity Church has been known in the village since about 1659, a modern stone building (single-headed quadrangle with a small refectory and hipped bell tower) was built in 1756. Closed in the 1930s, returned to believers in the late 1990s [11] .
