Biography
Frank Amanquwa was born on December 29, 1971 in the Ghanaian city of Obuasi.
Club career
He began his professional career in 1991 in the club championship of Ghana - " Asante Kotoko ." In 1997, he played for Gütersloh in the Second German Bundesliga , where Frank played in 7 games. In the summer of 1997, he moved to the Dutch AZ , but as a member of the team he played only in one game of the Netherlands Cup . In the 1999/00 season, he was a Greek Heraklis player, where he played another Ghanaian - Ebenezer Hagan . Amankwa held only 6 games in the championship of Greece .
In 2002 he became a footballer in the Ghanaian King Faisal Babes club. He finished his playing career in 2003 in the Asante Kotoko camp. Currently he is a children's trainer in London [1] .
Career in the national team
In August 1992, the head coach of the Olympic team of Ghana, Sam Arday, called Frank to the Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona. In the team, he received 2 number. In their group, the Ghanaians were ranked first, overtaking Mexico , Australia and Denmark . In the quarterfinals, Ghana beat Paraguay (4: 2), and in the match 1/2 finals lost to Spain (0: 2).
