Club career
Navia began his career at Santiago Wanderers . In 1995, at the age of 17, he made his debut for the main team in Chilean Example B [1] . In the same year, Reinaldo helped the club reach the elite. Navia quickly became the main attacker and scored in almost every second match. After several successful seasons, he moved to Estudiantes Tecos Mexico . In the new club, Navia did not lower the bar and scored 32 goals in 67 matches in two seasons. In 2003, he joined Monarkas Morelia , becoming one of the best snipers of the championship at the end of the season. Despite the steady interest in Navia in Europe, he remained in Mexico, having concluded a three-year contract with the capital " America ". The transfer amount was 1.4 million euros. January 4, 2004 in the match Interliga against Atlanta Reinaldo made his debut for the new team. In the same fight he made a “double”, scoring his first goals for “America”. In the match against Cruz Azul , Navia made his debut for the club in Mexican Example . In a duel against Veracruz , he scored his first goal in the championship for America. On May 11, in the derby against Guadalajara , Navia scored the winning goal with a blow through himself in the fall. In November, he suffered a serious knee injury, which left him out of the game for eight months. In the same year, Reinaldo became the champion of Mexico.
In early 2006, Navia left America and briefly played for Monterrey , San Luis and Atlas .
In 2007, he joined the Argentine Racing from Avellaneda. October 3 in the match against the " Tigre " Reinaldo made his debut in the Argentine Example . On May 17, 2008, in a duel against Boca Juniors , Navia scored his first goal for Racing [2] . In the summer of 2008, due to the low level of performance, Reinaldo was sold to the Ecuadorian LDU Quito , signing a one-year contract. On September 27, in a duel against Universidad de Chile , he scored his first goal for Santiago Morning [5] . In the summer of 2010, Reinaldo returned to Mexico, becoming the Irapuato footballer. On July 18, in the match against Dorados de Sinaloa , he made his debut in the League of Assenso [6] . On October 3, Navia made a hat-trick in a duel against La Piedad , scoring his first goals for Irapuato [7] .
In early 2011, Reinaldo returned to his homeland, becoming a Newblens footballer. On March 13, in the match against Universidad Catolica, he debuted for a new team [8] . A week later, in a duel against Union San Felipe , Navia scored his first goal for Newblense [9] . In early 2012, Reinaldo signed a short-term agreement with the US Atlanta Silverbecks [10] . April 8 in the match against San Antonio Scorpions , he debuted in NASL [11] . On April 15, Navia made a “double” against Carolina Railhocks , scoring his first goals for Atlanta Silverbacks [12] . In the same year, Reinaldo decided to end his career.
International Career
On January 17, 1999, in a friendly match against the national team of Guatemala, Navia made his debut for the national team of Chile . February 9, 2000 in a duel against Australia, he scored his first goal for the national team.
In 2000, Reinaldo as part of the Chilean Olympic team took part in the Olympic Games in Sydney . At the tournament he played in matches against teams of Morocco [13] , Spain [14] , Nigeria [15] , South Korea [16] , Cameroon [17] and the USA [18] . In fights against Moroccan, Spaniards and Nigerians, Navia scored four goals.
In 2001, Reinaldo as part of the Chilean national team took part in the America's Cup . In the tournament he played in matches against teams of Ecuador [19] , Venezuela [20] , Colombia [21] and Mexico [22] . In a duel against Ecuadorians Navia scored a goal.
In 2007, Reinaldo took part in the America's Cup in Venezuela for the second time. At the tournament he played in matches against Ecuador [23] .
