Holtmash

Kholtmash ( Chech. KholtӀmash ) is a traditional Chechen national dish, which includes cornmeal , wheat flour, water, vegetable oil , nettle, wild garlic , cottage cheese , salt , pepper to taste. Cooking time is about 45 minutes [1] .

Description

For cooking, young nettle and wild garlic are used - they are finely chopped and lightly fried. Then mixed with cottage cheese, pour vegetable oil into it, add salt, pepper and mix. Dilute corn and wheat flour, pour water. Knead the dough. Cakes are made of dough, with filling, connect the edges and crush. Served with sour cream or any sauce [1] .
